 The Freight House Cafe

Built in the spring of 1872, the Freight House was the first building constructed for the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad branch. This line serviced freight and passengers from Golden's Bridge to Grand Central Terminal for more than 50 years.  Almost exactly 100 years later, the owner was born into this little hamlet of Carmel with a dream to one day serve my community through food. Savor a cup of coffee and some homemade food.
